I assume it is equipped with air suspension because otherwise it would be undriveable on New York streets.

Stanced out, like riced out. Camber, lowness? Because racecar. Stickers, spoilers, loudness? Because race car. We rag on people who can't afford to have a unique car or properly mod one (who end up making "ricers") while tip toeing around asshats scraping about in cars often worth upwards of $35,000.

Kinja'd!!!

I guess it all depends on how much money you've spent.

I'm okay with air-riding stance cars since you get to have your cake and eat it versus the always-scrapping stance cars doing the look on coilovers alone. At least you can raise it up and drive around normally when you're not slamming it to the ground at shows/parking lots.

IIRC that Porsche is on bags, so no scraping.

Oh well I really don't have a problem with that, but what I find ironic is that people are making fun of cheap and shocking visual mods and praising the whole "static low" hellaflush faction (which renders a car unsafe, unusable, and essentially a waste). I say either don't make fun of cars or call things as they are; dropping a brand new BMW onto the ground is "amazing" while someone of lesser means who sticks a spoiler on their cheap-but-usable Accord is to be laughed at for a lack of logic. I totally get that it's their property, but I just say we call things like they are and not view things through a lens of socioeconomic classism. You won't find any rich kids at the underglow meetup at Autozone, but I wonder how we'd judge it if you could.

Stanced out is a term that I and most people consider free of valuation.

Fair enough although I'm sure most people consider the word "motor oil" free of evaluation lol

I'm always amazed at people belly scraping in NYC. Met a dude with a MKV GTI on bags. He said he never bothered raising the car up because he didn't like how it looked.

He said there were some neighborhoods that he just couldn't go to, the roads were too rough.

I had no idea how bad the roads were when I moved here three months ago. Even Manhattan has some roads where I as a German ask myself how on earth nobody has repaved the whole thing. And than there are the guys in Hondas and VWs who don't care and drive what must be static lowered cars! I yesterday saw a yellow Mk IV Golf in Queens, and it was literally an inch from the ground. The guy started scraping heavily on the Queens Boulevard and had to stop to see if he didn't do any major damage to the underbody, and then he took on some side roads to get to his destination. Crazy commitment.

I love when you drive around TriBeCa and you see the roads fixed with large slats of wood. It's the richest area of one of the richest cities in the world and roads are fixed with wooden boards.
